The Head Chef of Tao and team are from Nepal, they expertise in making mouth watering food. Some of Tao specials include sumptuous dim sims, exquisite sushi, while other highlights on the menu are The Omakase, a Japanese tradition that serves a 7-course meal and translates into “I leave it to you, Chef”, The Lotus Wrap Rice, The Chimney Pot Soup, The green Thai curry and many more.

" Walking into the epitome of pure veg Pan Asian cuisine. Located at Bandra, Reclamation, Tao brings you the best of food from Pan Asia. This might be one of the few restaurants seeing pure veg pan Asian cuisine , and truly authentic in taste. I visited here on a Thursday and let me tell you it was packed. They had amazing crowed and a great vibe. I personally loved this place. They have an indoor, outdoor and a private section. The seating is spacious and well placed, a perfect restaurant to dine-In with your loved ones. Coming to their food, personally I loved the food here. It’s super delicious and freshly made using best of ingredients. The vast menu gives you multiple and most classic options that can compliment your taste buds at best. "

" Tao kitchen is one of the most classic place for dine in. It serves authentic asian, Japanese food, and guess what its a pure veg restaurant but trust me its serves very yummy food specially their ramen, sushi bao and even mocktails are something which is definitely a must try. Talking about their service and ambiance it is just very nice, the staff are quite polite and helpful and ambiance is just very rich. " This is hands down the best Asian Vegetarian restaurant I ever ate in. All dishes shared by my friend and I were delicious. My only suggestion is that they add an item to the menu and charge reasonably the it : STEAMED RICE because some of the dishes are so flavourful they would go well with a side of rice (the waiter said he can bring steamed rice but that we would have to pay for it as if it was an item from the rice and noodles menu which would set us back around 500 INR which is not at all reasonable). The service is professional and courteous, the air, conditioning is perfect and the ambience superb. "

" We had dinner at Tao which is located in Bandra and we loved the vibe of the place. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. We had the crispy tempura sushi, hand tossed spicy Basil Bao which was extremely soft and flavourful. For main course we tried the wild mushroom in spicy soya sauce with wok tossed garlic rice! The vegetables were crispy and well done and the gravy was delicious and light. For dessert we tried the Warm melting chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream which was scrumptious. "
